Workshop A
Title: Introduction to Java Coding Basics (Presented by Oakville Community FIRST Robotics Team 1360)

Description: This workshop is for students who are new to, or are interested in Java programming. By the end of the workshop, you should have a working method of compiling Java code, and an understanding of the basic fundamentals of Java development.
Workshop B
Title: echoAR: How to Build a Cloud-Connected AR/VR App in 15 Minutes or Less
Time: 11:00am - 12:00pm
Topics: Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Spatial Cloud Computing, Developer Tools
Description: This workshop will show how to quickly create augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) apps with no technical skills or coding required and scale existing apps by connecting them to the cloud. Workshop participants will learn how to create real-time cloud-connected AR/VR apps using the echoAR platform. Participants will also discover how AR/VR are changing the world through the demonstration of different use cases of 3D applications and live demos of AR/VR experiences. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and a smartphone. Platforms for experimentation include: Google ARCore, WebXR, Vuforia, Unity-based apps, and more.

Workshop C
Title: Introduction to Python Coding Basics (Presented by Jeffery Zhan)
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
Topics: Python, Variables, Functions, Program Logic, Other Programming Fundamentals
Description: Interested in learning Python or getting an introduction to programming in general? This workshop may interest you! Python is a commonly used language not only to teach beginners, but also in the industry itself. This means that learning Python will give you skills that can be applied to an actual job or purpose. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of coding, write your first program, and build a fundamental understanding of Python coding. Enough to give you a taste of what programming is like, and hopefully motivate everyone to take the next step in their coding journey!
Workshop D
Title: Introduction to Computer Aided Design (Presented by IRHS CAD Club)
Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Topics: Size & Adjustment/Cutting and Carving, Alignment, Libraries
Description: Students will take part in a fun crash course of TinkerCAD, where they will use the software to manipulate objects in various ways to suit their needs and purposes in future CAD works. Students will also partake in a friendly competition to complete a challenge where they'll be tasked to create a design within an alloted time to showcase the skills and knowledge that they have gained during this session.
Workshop E
Title: Pitching Your Product (Presented by Hargun Sibal)
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Topics: Presentation Guidelines, Unique Proposition for Hack, Soft Skills
Description: In this workshop, you will learn how to pitch your product/hack to the judges in an effective way to show the benefits of your hack. You will want to impress the judges as much as possible, so in this workshop, you will get the chance to learn effective marketing strategies and also ways that you can stand out from the crowd! This workshop will help you sell the build, product, and design of your hack and deliver persuasive presentations to the judges.
